Z-FIBER is a high modulus polypropylene superfiber used as a secondary reinforcement in concrete, mortars and lightweight concrete. Even at low dosage, it strengthens the concrete at its moment of maximum vulnerability (within 24 hours after casting) protecting it from the tensile stresses of the surface layer which tends to shrink thus causing the formation of cracks.
Z-FIBER is a practical and economical alternative to the use of electro-welded wire mesh used to counteract cracks in concrete industrial floorings.
